Background

CRYOS Technologies developed an innovative new orthopedic support. The company wanted to ensure that data provided by podiatrists prescribing the orthopedic support was accurate before manufacturing the product in order to ensure superior quality custom outcomes.

Solution

In collaboration with CRYOS Technologies, we undertook a joint project to compile precise foot shape data using the scanner 3D. This camera provides 3D data on feet, and the company fabricates custom orthopedic supports for clients based on the measurements obtained.

To date, we have produced over 100 laser profilometers for use in tasks like timber grading, iron ore pellet granulometry, and automatic transverse road profile measurements. The technology of the scanner 3D, which is part of the new generation of easy-to-use, portable 3D sensors, makes it possible to create 3D models that can be used in a wide array of applications.
