Solution
INO is a recognized international player in the field of optical and digital pattern and object recognition. INO spinoff company Optosecurity has drawn on INO’s unique technologies to develop a new technology known as OptoScreener®, which assists in detecting firearms and other potential threats contained in baggage and, ultimately, in containers. This system can be incorporated into existing x-ray inspection systems in many airports, thereby reducing the cost of full system installation. INO has already completed two technology transfers with Optosecurity for its assisted inspection system development activities.
