INO is a technology leader specialized in generating "high-added-value" photons, and in developing and modeling fiber lasers that operate in pulsed and continuous modes. We boast a unique pulsed fiber laser fabrication technology that allows us to produce lasers with pulse shapes and durations ranging from 2 to 80 nanoseconds for use in extremely sophisticated applications. We have also developed a unique fiber laser fabrication technology that allows us to control the laser spectrum to minimize any speckle effect on the targets.
Working in very close collaboration with our specialty optical fiber development team, we optimize the fiber design of each type of laser. We can then adapt our various optical fiber designs and technologies to fiber lasers with a gain medium that can be doped or codoped with ions such as Yb, Er, Nd, Tm, Pr, Sm, or others.
INO specializes in the development of custom lasers and fiber lasers for use in specific applications. To meet our clients’ needs, we have developed a unique platform for programming the fiber laser pulse shape down to the nanosecond pulse width range. We also specialize in the development and production of fiber lasers with linearly polarized beams. Thanks to our unparalleled expertise in specialty fiber design and fabrication, we can optimize the design of these laser types at a number of different wavelengths.
We also draw on extensive expertise in the areas of fiber laser diode collimation and coupling (MODAL technology), solid state laser design, and laser beam characterization in a wide range of wavelengths.
