Michel Arnault holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Cachan (Paris, France) and has over 35 years of experience in optics and optoelectronics.
Mr. Arnault started his career as an engineer and founded his own company in 1987, which specialized in test products and optoelectronic component aging. He sold the company five years later. He then headed up a product line for Froilabo and continued in that position at EXFO after it acquired the company. In 1997 he became a group leader in EXFO’s R&D department and was promoted to R&D manager in 1999, heading up a team of 100 employees. He held that position for almost 20 years before joining INO in January 2018.
Mr. Arnault cofounded Quebec City’s Cercle des Innovateurs, a group of managers in the area who share knowledge and expertise on innovation management.
