Member of the board of directors since 2006
Having retired in August 2006, Guy Laberge remains active in the business world by serving on a number of corporate boards of directors.
In addition to his work with INO, he is also a member of the following boards of directors: CAA-Québec since April 16, 2004 (Chairman of the Audit Committee), Communication LGP Inc. since it was founded in 1998 (call centre) and Les Violons du Roy et la Chapelle de Québec since April 13, 2006.
In the previous 25 years, from February 1981 to August 2006, Mr. Laberge worked for CGI. He was one of the Group’s founding directors and managed all of CGI’s operations in Quebec as the Executive Vice-President and Executive Director for Quebec.
Before joining CGI in February 1981, Mr. Laberge held senior positions with the Government of Quebec over a period of 14 years, including Executive Director of the Bureau des véhicules automobiles at the Ministry of Transportation and Executive Director of the IS Department at the Ministry of Education.
He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Université Laval and Chairman of the Audit Committee from 1991 to 2000, a member of the Executive and Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Quebec from 1998 to 1999, a member of the Board of Directors of the Forces Avenir organization from 1999 to July 2000, a member of the Board of Directors of Université Laval’s Centre de recherche Robert-Giffard from 2005 to 2009, a member of the Board of Directors of the Centre de développement de la géomatique and a member of the Board of Directors of the Fonds de développement de la région Chaudière-Appalaches.
Mr. Laberge holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Université Laval.
