After a 35 year career with Desjardins, Liliane Laverdière is now a corporate director.
Liliane’s dynamism and passion for economic development is well known in the business community. Amongst her many achievements she has been President of the Quebec City Chamber of Commerce. She serves as a Director of the Jean-Lesage International Airport, of the CHU Foundation and of the Quebec City Convention Centre.
During her career, Liliane has received numerous awards, including notably the 2008 Quebec Business Women’s award, honoring women with outstanding careers. In 2006, she was chosen as one of the 15 most fascinating persons in Quebec and was recognized as Femme Leader Entreprises by Entreprendre magazine. In 2013, she received Les Incontournables Award from Premières en Affaires.
On a personal note, she holds a MBA in management from Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Montréal and has three sons. Throughout the years, her dedication to others has led her to support many charitable and humanitarian causes.
