The Industry Manager will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer and lead a specialized business unit in a specific industrial sector (Pharmaceutical and medical devices/biomedtech). He will oversee the establishment of business relations based on a close relationship with clients to define and understand their needs. He will also develop and promote technological solutions relevant to his customer base. He will be responsible for growing the backlog and the client base, developing and implementing the marketing plan of the solutions, and overseeing the profitability of the business unit.
The Industry Manager will establish and develop successful long-term relationships with clients and organizations relevant to his industry. In addition to generating and closing sales, he is responsible for managing opportunities through the customer relationship management system (CRM). He will develop and implement the marketing plan and conduct campaigns targeting the industrial sector under his responsibility. He will ensure that his industry’s activities are fully carried out so as to meet the needs and expectations expressed by clients. He will be responsible for developing offers for clients and recommending the areas of technological development in line with the industry needs.
The incumbent will development business cases to secure internal financing for the development of his business sector’s technological skills and solutions. He will work in close collaboration with the Vice-President, Business Development and Partnerships to coordinate the goals and operations of satellite offices and manage major multi-sector accounts and partners.
