PRODUCTION ENGINEER

YOUR CHALLENGES

You will be working on R&D projects to ensure that design practices integrate the various industrialization requirements, such as components engineering and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA), in a short‑run production context for high-tech systems.

You will provide the necessary technical support to develop, implement, apply and improve production operations. You will be responsible for moving prototypes to the product stage and contributing to setting up the production cell.

You will be in charge of managing product lifecycle, troubleshooting and overseeing all required certification processes. You will work with the R&D team to develop proposals. You may also be required to maintain contact with customers and ensure their satisfaction as well as the quality of deliverables and after-sales services.

THE ESSENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in a high-tech short-run production environment supported by a quality system.

  • Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.

You would ideally bring these qualities to our team:

  • You are very familiar with production processes and can collaborate to implement assembly, calibration and testing methods and tools.
  • You have experience with the concurrent engineering approach.
  • You have extensive knowledge of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) methods.
  • You are comfortable in a standard-focused context (e.g., medical, aerospace or other).
