Life at INO

Our 200 or so employees are undoubtedly our greatest asset. Thanks to their strong social engagement, excellent team spirit, and unwavering will to support the next generation of scientists, together, we spread INO’s values within the community.

INO gives back to the community

INO is pleased to have contributed $51,000 to the Centraide Québec et Chaudière-Appalaches campaign to help build a bright future for the community. The remarkable mobilization of INO’s staff, coupled with our CEO Alain Chandonnet’s incentive to raise the number of one-dollar-a-day donations, helped us significantly surpass our goal. INO is proud of the campaign’s success and of the company’s contribution to the local community’s well-being.

Women and science

Helping the next generation of female scientists gain momentum is truly important to INO. Four of our employees took part in the 20th annual “Les filles et les sciences” event, which celebrates science literacy among women. They had the opportunity to meet the 175 participants at the INO booth, and they also led an interactive workshop that offered a demonstration of the THz system, an invisibility experiment using an optical assembly, and polarization.

Top dog at math and sports

Did you know that many of our scientists also love sports? Twenty-eight of our employees took part in the corporate event of the “Pentathlon des neiges” in the city of Québec. Two of our six teams also earned a third place on the podium (open and women’s categories). INO is proud to promote its employees’ healthy habits!
