Martin Larrivée holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a license in accounting sciences from Laval University. Since 1990, he has held the designation of CPA, CA and since 2015 the designation of Certified Corporate Director (ASC).

Mr. Larrivée began his career in 1990 as an auditor at KPMG. From 1993 to 1996, he was Financial Controller at Poly-Énergie, a subsidiary of Roche ltée, a consulting group involved in turnkey projects in the energy efficiency sector. From 1996 to 1998, as Director of Administration for Enterprise location d’autos, he was responsible for establishing the subsidiary in Quebec. From 1998 to 1999, he was Financial Controller at Domosys Corporation.

From 1999 to 2005, he served as Finance Director at ABB Bomem Inc. Since November 2005, he is INO's Finance Vice-President and is in charge of the finance, information technology, process and compliance, procurement departments, and human resources. In 2020, he launched INO’s incubator, Quantino.

From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Larrivée also served on the Board of Directors of the regional chamber of commerce of Sainte-Foy and from 1999 to 2000 as Vice-Chairman of the chamber’s Executive Committee. From 2007 to 2008, he served as Treasurer and Board Member of the Association des Manufacturiers en Électronique de Québec (AMEQ) and since 2008, has been a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of Moisson Québec. Since May 2018, he is a director and member of the audit committee of the Institut de la recherche scientifique (INRS).  In 2020, he became director of the Mouvement des accélérateurs d’innovation du Québec.
