Our polarization-maintaining ytterbium doped optical fibers are designed to deliver outstanding beam quality, making them ideal for pulsed laser applications. 

Description

All our fibers are based on a low photodarkening chemical process with an index profile designed to ensure excellent beam quality. Built around our patented depressed-clad design, our Yb-doped large mode area (LMA) fibers are ideal choices for achieving high-power amplification with outstanding beam quality.

We offer a wide range of Yb-doped optical fibers. We can also provide custom fiber tailor made to your specifications and requirements.

Tapered fiber

The Yb-MCOF-35/250-56/400-07-2.5-T0.8-PM is a tapered fiber designed for an output M² lower than 1.2, making it the perfect choice for applications requiring superior beam quality. It features a confined core for selective gain amplification of the fundamental mode, and a patented depressed-cladding design for enhanced suppression of higher order modes.
