Appointment of Mr. Marc Corriveau as President and Chief Executive Officer

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Optics Institute (INO), Mr. Jean Guy Paquet, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Marc Corriveau as President and Chief Executive Officer of INO, effective June 15, 2017. Mr. Corriveau obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1995 and a Masters of Accounting in 1996 from Université de Sherbrooke. Until recently, he was the General Manager of a leading company in Quebec City specialized in developing, manufacturing and selling optical products. Mr. Corriveau will succeed Mr. Jean-Yves Roy who has held the position since 2005.

The Government of Québec supports INO, a leading partner in Québec's economic development

The Government of Canada and the Government of Québec jointly announce their support to INO

The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, represented by the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Member of the House of Commons for Québec, as well as Mrs. Dominique Anglade, Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation and Member of the National Assembly for Saint-Henri—Sainte-Anne, and Mr. François Blais, Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Capitale-Nationale region have jointly announced that the governments will contribute core funding to the National Optics Institute (INO) during the 2016‑2021.
