Marjolaine Giasson

Marjolaine Giasson is a member of the executive team and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at La Maison Simons, a fashion retail company. Since 2021, she has supported the transformation of the finance function and contributed to the organization’s next phase of growth.

She has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, including early career roles at the Montreal offices of Andersen, PwC, and Molson Coors. She later held senior leadership positions in several innovative, high-growth, or transformational organizations, notably as Chief Financial Officer at Optosécurité, Innoventé, and Flyscan Systems. More recently, at Prémoulé, she led a restructuring of their manufacturing operations. Throughout her career, she has been a key contributor to the expansion and evolution of the organizations she has served.

Ms. Giasson is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Canada. She also serves on the Board of Québec City Airport, where she acts as Chair of the Audit Committee. From 2018 to 2021, she was Chair of the Audit Committee of Sovar, a university research commercialization organization serving academic institutions in eastern Quebec.

Originally from Québec City, Marjolaine Giasson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Université Laval, where she was awarded the Mérite-Hermès distinction. She also holds an MBA from Université Laval. In 2021, she completed executive education in corporate governance at the Université Laval College of Corporate Directors. She holds the CPA designation.
