Michel Leblanc has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in new product development within technology companies. He is currently Director of Research and Development at EXFO, where he oversees the development of optical test and measurement instruments.
At EXFO, he has implemented best practices in governance and innovation management to maximize alignment between technological development and market needs.
Throughout his career, he has worked at Bell Northern Research, Luqia (formerly INO), and CIENA. Michel is well acquainted with Canada’s photonics innovation ecosystem and actively collaborates on research projects with several university research groups.
Michel Leblanc is a member of IEEE, Optica, and an associate member of COPL.
