NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT
The President and Chief Executive Officer of INO, Mr. Alain Chandonnet, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Valérie Hénaire as Director of the new high-tech incubator, Quantino.
Since stepping into her role on February 17, Ms. Hénaire has been called upon to create partnerships in the innovation ecosystem and find companies to incubate.
After graduating from Université Laval with a bachelor’s degree in Social Advertising and Educational Technologies, Ms. Hénaire built a solid professional background over the course of 25 years including stints at Ubisoft, SAGA, Frima and De Marque. This experience has enabled her to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the players in Québec City’s creative world, as well as the province of Québec as a whole. Her leadership has been recognized both here at Université Laval and elsewhere, as she was chosen by Canadian Women in Communications to participate in Banff Centre’s New Media Career Accelerator Program. Her entrepreneurial qualities and creativity, currently highlighted on the Board of Directors of the Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ), 3 E, as well as on the Comité consultatif Arts numériques et divertissement interactif (ANDI), will help Quantino achieve its ambitious goals.
