Jacques Topping is currently President of MissionBis, a holding company, and director on a number of corporate boards. Since January 2010, he has also served as Executive Vice-President of Frima Studio, a game developer with more than 350 employees specialized in multiplatform video games. In March 2011, he co-founded a new IT consulting firm called V-NEO, where he is Strategic Director.

He began his career in 1974 as a programmer, then became chartered accountant (CA). He practised this profession for five years, namely at Deloitte. He also holds an MBA from Université Laval specialized in information systems, which he received in 1984. In 2007, he completed the ASC certified corporate director program.

In 1985, he co-founded the Informission Group (Nurun TSX: NUR), an interactive IT services and software company and resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2000. Under his leadership, the company finalized nine mergers and acquisitions, had over 1,100 employees and declared annual sales in excess of $120 million.

Since 2000, Mr. Topping has served or continues to serve on many boards of directors and advisory committees in the financial, technology, not-for-profit and, of course, telecommunications and optics sectors.

He has received a number of honours. His community involvement includes the creation of two funds to support societal causes in Quebec.
