Mathieu Barreau is Vice President of Business Development in Artificial Intelligence at Luqia. In this role, he supports organizations in the adoption, experimentation and industrialization of artificial intelligence solutions applied to business challenges and critical systems. 

With more than 20 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships and technological innovation, Mathieu Barreau acts as a catalyst between industrial, institutional, scientific and government stakeholders. He works with companies across a variety of sectors, including aerospace, defense, life sciences, manufacturing, energy and other strategic industries. 

Before the merger of INO and CRIM into Luqia, he held several leadership positions at CRIM, where he contributed to the development of structuring initiatives in applied artificial intelligence, trustworthy AI and organizational digital transformation. 

Recognized for his ability to structure complex collaborations and mobilize innovation ecosystems, he leads the development of strategic programs, collaborative research consortiums and initiatives aimed at accelerating the competitiveness of Canadian companies through artificial intelligence. 

Mathieu Barreau actively contributes to the visibility and growth of the Quebec and Canadian technology ecosystem. He regularly speaks at events, panels and conferences on artificial intelligence, AI systems governance, industrial innovation and emerging technologies.
