Detecting More than Fill Levels in Farmers’ Bins with Machine Vision

It is critical for livestock farmers to keep track of how much feed is in their bins to ensure a steady inventory to avoid feed outages and overfills.

In order to develop a solution to determine feed bin levels as accurately as possible, BinSentry sought out INO’s extensive expertise in vision systems. Together, INO and BinSentry worked on the development of a machine vision 3D monitoring sensor to map the complete interior of a farmers’ feed bin.
