Client: Flyscan
INO has been working with Flyscan since the company’s inception in 2015 to develop an airborne sensor with the precision and sensitivity to detect even the smallest oil leak.
The technology developed for Flyscan includes a UV laser, a calibration unit, and a highly sensitive benzene-molecule detection unit. Designed to detect oil leaks no matter how small, Flyscan’s technology allows operators to act quickly and keep environmental damage to a minimum.
Flyscan helps companies avoid decontamination costs and, more importantly, prevent environmental disasters that pose a threat to biodiversity—and their reputation. The company was featured in a summer 2020 article that appeared in Quebec City daily Le Soleil (Article in French).
